Main and Main Estate Agency on Church Road, Gatley, have decided to close the Halifax Bank following their fifth armed raid. The Estate Agency will remain open.

Four men wielding truncheons burst into the agency at 3.45pm on Thursday 3rd of February.

After failing to bust into to Halifax bank counter based in the agency, the robbers threatened staff with the truncheon and demanded cash, which the terrified employees handed over. The robbers then fled the scene in a silver Lexus.
