Over the past week a number of crimes have been committed in Gatley, mainly car crime (pulling several wing mirrors off) and vandalism to property.

Please keep extra vigilant especially at night (look through your windows straight away if you hear a suspicious noise). It is important that ALL crimes or suspected crimes are reported to the police immediately, (999 for real Emergencies) or 0161 872 5050 (ask for control room for Gatley area).

Finally, please ensure that security lights are in working order and internal house lights are left on a timer switch if you are going away! Also ensure Christmas presents are out of view.
