WELLSPRING CHARITY CYCLE EVENT

Brian Anthony who is a registered blind software engineer at Intervoice Brite in Gatley, is leading an epic cycle event for the Stockport based homeless charity Wellspring.

The event is a challenging coast-to-coast and back again ride from
Gretna Green to Newcastle and will take place on the weekend
June 16th/17th.

Brian is in the process of publicising the event with the media, and contacting local companies to see if they can support Wellspring by pledging some money towards the Wellspring building fund, or volunteer a cyclist to participate, or both!
Any companies that support the event will be displayed on the support vehicles which will be in the background of any media interviews, and also receive a certificate from Wellspring to show their appreciation for any support.

The Wellspring charity is in desperate need of new premises to provide better facilities and achieve it's vision of a purpose built building that can support the needy and homeless in and around Stockport.
Currently it serves hot meals twice a day, 365 days a year, provides changes of clothes, blankets and access to a shower, but would like to extend it's facilities to provide medical and counseling care.
