Val Gardner (Gatley Rec, Scoop the Poop)
has taken the Parks and Recreation Management Team on a tour showing
them the areas of Gatley that need immediate improvement. They took her objections on board and we await the results.

Gatley Carrs Conservation Group
is a voluntary organisation working for the benefit of Gatley Carrs.

Gatley Carrs is an area of open grassland, woodland and water between Lorna Grove, Brookside road and the Altringham to Cheadle rail line.

Male health checks at the Horse and Farrier
Men are invited to go along to the Horse and Farrier on Saturday 2nd February
between 1 and 5pm where a team of nurses from Gatley Health centre will be
available to check blood pressure,height, weight and blood sugars.

Thwey will be giving out information and advice on healthy living and male cancers.
Plus everyone that attends will receive a free pack of information and goodies!!

So why not go down and get your check up in an informal, relaxed setting
away from the GP surgery
