Brookside Pre-school, established 1970, offers a range of opportunities to have fun and learn through a variety of experiences. Our curriculum covers all of the "Desirable Learning Outcomes" including craft activities, structured dance sessions, paint, puzzles, stories, song and number and language development. A large outdoor play area adds an extra dimension during the summer months. The children perform a Nativity Play and take part in Gatley Festival.

Brookside Pre-school has 2 qualified primary school teachers and a dance teacher who have worked together for many years in caring for a maximum of 24 children per weekday session.

We aim to provide good quality experiences to help children make friends, prepare for school and to have fun.

The Pre-school is a registered charity and is inspected annually by the Local Authority Social Services Department. Being a self supporting group we welcome any offers of help or support.

Brookside Pre-school is based at the Scout Hut on Gatley Hill, where improvements to the building are now on-going.

We are open 5 weekdays mornings from 9.15 - 12 noon during term-time. Children have to be 2 years and 9 months to start and can stay until they go to school.
