Gatley Carrs
Conservation Group is a voluntary organisation est 1998, which works
to maintain and improve the open space of Gatley Carrs in cooperation
with Stockport MBC Parks and Recreation Service. Together with other
'Friends of Parks' groups it belongs to Stockport Communities in Greenspace
Forum.
Gatley
Carrs Conservation Group is always looking for new members.
You
don't have to come to meetings or task days but your support and annual
subscription of £2 per member enables the group to maintain
and develop Gatley Carrs. All members receive a twice yearly newsletter
including a summary of the 6 months activities as well as seasonal
reports on wildlife and flora.
Attracting
more members in one of a number of criterion the Group must meet in
order to be able to have Gatley Carrs registered as an official Nature
Reserve, so ensuring a long term future for this site , free from
development which is moving closer.
If
you would like to join you can obtain a membership form by asking
any existing members you may know, or you can contact the Treasurer,
Richard Jones, at: admin@gatleycarrs.org.uk or leave a message on:

Thank
You Very Much.
